Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Provide leadership within the local office to achieve the goals and objectives established by the Corporate Leaders responsible for Human Resources, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Legal Services and Contracts Administration systems.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

Serve as one of the Company's main participants and spokesperson with the local community?s professional organizations and the public. Participate in Corporate positioning activities, including presenting at conferences and seminars, publishing articles and networking with individuals, civic and professional organization. Work closely with Studio Leadership to serve as the local representative for each Studio not represented by a leader in the local office. Attend regularly scheduled and special national marketing meetings.? Represent the office at local pre-proposal conferences.? Work with Marketing Coordinators to organize and prepare submittals. Attend interviews as PIC/PD. Function as Principal-in-Charge or Project Director for certain assigned clients when requested. Oversee and manage the functions, duties and responsibilities of the local office PIC/PD group including fee and proposal related activities and project financial performance. Review contracts and proposals for conformity to office policies and procedures. Contribute recommendations regarding local office staff to year-end salary, bonus and promotion program for compliance with established goals, performance expectations and promotion criteria as established by the Compensation Committee. Perform other duties as assigned by the Corporate Executive.

Additional Salary Information: Salary dependent on experience.

Requirements
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering required. Professional licensure. Minimum fifteen years professional experience with five years as a Principal or equivalent. A thorough knowledge of all aspects of professional services from marketing through project close-out, including design and technical expertise. Understanding of risk management, marketing principles, strategic business planning and client development. Ability to motivate others and develop teamwork; excellent writing and speaking skills and strong organizational skills. Ability to work well with others under deadline situations. Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible. Possess strong business acumen. Demonstrated ability in a senior level position, highly visible to clients and employees, requiring maturity, assertiveness, integrity and the ability to lead, influence and persuade. Ability to interact well in various business and social settings with all types of people in a mature and professional manner. Computer literate.
