The ideal candidate:
Is technically competent and has proven growth in schematic design through construction administration.
Is detail oriented and self-motivated.
Is proficient with technical detailing.
Possesses working knowledge of building systems; the ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines.
Is knowledgeable of the design and construction process, applicable building codes, detailing methods, and product specification methods.
Has a demonstrated ability to communicate with clients, and build client
Ability to lead small teams and manage staff.
Is proficient with Building Information Modeling and 3D Skills; such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch-up. Along with knowledge of management programs, such as: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Has a professional degree and minimum 5-10 years of experience (Florida registered Architect and, LEED AP preferred).
As Project Architect, your duties will include the following: • Plan, develop, coordinate and direct the architectural design effort on projects while maintaining project technical specifications. • Coordinate and direct consulting engineers. • Work with building codes, construction standards. • Review and understand project objectives and establish architectural concepts and design requirements for various projects. • Assist in the development of project concepts, layouts, aesthetics, materials, and finishes. • Prepare construction documents using CAD/BIM. • Collect project data through client interviews and on-site fieldwork. • Have knowledge of current: building codes, construction materials and methods, BIM, and project execution. • Assist in marketing efforts which may include: verbal presentations, graphics, and client development. • Manage one or more small to medium-sized projects and/or manage a portion of a large-sized project. • Produce and coordinate a complete set of construction documents for permitting and bidding. • Work closely with Project Managers and engineering consultants.
