Corgan seeks an outstanding Interior Design Studio Leader to join the firm in our New York office location. This dynamic individual will continue to build the firm’s Workplace Interiors practice by growing and mentoring a team of talent and pursuing business development opportunities. Additionally, this successful candidates will develop excellent designs based on global design trends and client objectives and will provide high level guidance and leadership to project teams throughout all project phases.
Ideal candidate must have strong leadership and project management skills, demonstrated business development success and confident presentation skills. Candidate should have experience with regular and successful interaction with a variety of clients and possess a flexible attitude and the ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in a team environment. Candidate must also demonstrate strong organizational, time management and communications skills. Great opportunity for a highly motivated and well-rounded designer seeking responsibility with challenging projects in a creative work environment and the opportunity to mentor junior staff.
A degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program and professional registration required, along with 15+ years of experience in Interior Design of high end projects, retail and/or hospitality and familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD and other graphics-related programs. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3-D modeling programs is preferred.
