5+ Years of architectural experience preferred.
Proficient in Revit 2017 and AutoCAD 2016/2017, Photoshop a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
Familiarity with building codes and research.
Technical goals, objectives & responsibilities
Capable of working independently 60% of the time.
Ability to work independently and prepare a package of deliverables for each phase.
Working knowledge and familiarity with the building code.
Research and be proactive about the building code changes.
Understand constructability issues.
Maintain close contact with Team Leader and other team members to resolve all project related questions.
Accurately document all exchanges of information on the project between the firm, the client and any consultants.
Directly coordinate with client and incorporate their standards.
Review consultant plans and identify conflicts with architecture.
Attend DD reviews and relay to junior staff.
Participate in Construction Administration process.
Coordinate files with consultants upon direction from Team Leader.
Attend and generate meeting minutes for project meetings, presentations, framing walks, planning commission hearings and VE meetings with the client.
Assemble a set of construction documents for distribution to client and consultants with assistance from support personnel.
Generate a general code analysis on projects.
Oversee and check junior staff’s work.
