Business Development/Sales for the Structural Steel Industry
Being an architect, structural engineer or construction professional doesn't mean you need to spend your life behind a desk to have a successful career. The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) has a great team of business development staff who work in target cities around the country to educate and sell the benefits and beauty of using structural steel in today's buildings. By title, we may call our marketing professionals "Specialists"—but in the mirror, they’re marketing pros that look just like YOU! If you LOVE steel and really want to be on the other side of the desk, think about joining our team of marketing/sales Structural Steel Specialists. We're currently looking to fill an opening in Atlanta.
You need technical knowledge (a degree in civil/structural engineering or architecture is preferred) or steel industry sales experience, a love of steel plus a minimum of five years of experience in building design, construction or fabrication. Fantastic communication keys are critical to your success. You'll need to be comfortable with both public speaking and writing.
“There's always a solution in steel.”
The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), headquartered in Chicago, is a non-partisan, not-for-profit technical institute and trade association established in 1921 to serve the structural steel design community and construction industry in the United States.
