7+ Years of architectural experience preferred in single family, Type V residential construction.
Proficient in Revit 2010 or 2012 and AutoCAD, Photoshop a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
Working knowledge of the building codes and research.
Thorough knowledge and experience with construction administration is required including an understanding of structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and building material.
Must have experience in assembling architectural detailing including waterproofing conditions.
Knowledge of specifications, building costs, construction schedules and sequencing.
Technical goals, objectives & responsibilities
Capable of working independently 80% of the time.
Ability to work independently and prepare a package of deliverables for each phase.
Identify, coordinate and resolve design, constructability, and consultant issues.
Assist in managing and coordinating project team efforts under limited supervision.
Research and be proactive about building code changes.
Assume the responsibilities of Construction Administration process.
Maintain close contact with Team Leader and other team members to resolve all project related questions.
Mentor and train junior staff while reviewing their work and confirming their documents follow office standards.
Accurately document all exchanges of information on the project between the firm, the client, and any consultants.
Directly coordinate with client and incorporate their standards.
Review consultant plans and identify conflicts with architecture.
Generate a general code analysis on projects.
Produce complete and accurate CDs.
Review and approve all team members’ timecards.
Monitor project hours/project efficiency and status.
Oversee preparation of construction document details.
SITE PLANNING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
