A bachelor’s degree in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning or related field with a focus on the built environment.
1 or more years of urban design, landscape design, master planning, and/or urban planning project experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), and AutoCAD required. Additional experience with GIS preferred.
Knowledge of online engagement tools and the ability to prepare simple websites, as well as Sketchup or other 3D modeling software desired.
Demonstrated understanding of urban design, architectural design and sustainable practices, including building form, site planning, land use planning, and zoning codes.
Proven ability in design thinking and creative problem solving.
Organized, with high quality written, graphic, and verbal communication skills.
