The Construction Administrator will be responsible for services for large, complex projects including K-12. Higher Education, Healthcare, Institutional projects, and Housing Projects.
Prepares construction drawings and sketches
Produces reports and meeting minutes
Reviews shop drawings and creates a master log of the project submittals.
Responds to RFI’s
Performs site observation and writes Field Reports
Assists in review of Applications for Payment and Change Orders
Coordinates the work of consultants
Assists with LEED On-Line templates
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field
Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience
Minimum 3 completed projects as Construction Administrator is required
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Extensive proven experience with construction types and working collaboratively with contractors and building owners.
Understand and review building codes to assure that design complies with the minimum legal standards.
Proficient in Revit and adobe programs
Knowledgeable in: Newforma or other Document Management Software required
Experience in Chapter 149A projects preferred
Architectural License preferred
LEED Accreditation preferred
