Established Eastside mixed-use residential design/build firm, is currently seeking a staff architect in high-rise construction. We are currently in the design and development phase of a high-rise mixed use apartment project in downtown Bellevue. Our in-house architecture team is working with BCJ Architects, the design architect, to design and build a 23 story tower over a two level commercial podium with four levels of underground parking.
Our need is for a highly motivated, team oriented individual who enjoys taking a hands-on approach to design and construction detailing. The successful applicant should have a working knowledge of concrete and steel construction methods and good understanding of high-rise building codes. This individual will work with a team of in-house architects to prepare construction drawings through design development to construction administration.
5-10 years experience in high-rise construction or similar in the last three years.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to give and take direction.
Interface well with consultants and construction trades.
