Position: Area Manager, Ambulatory Projects (Planning Design & Construction Department)

Seeking an Area Manager with heavy Ambulatory project management experience (Owner’s representative project management) preferably in the California health care market, ability to work with developers/real estate professionals and end users. Sensibility to architecture, medical office building, tenant improvement constructability, and mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to work with team (real estate/developer) to assist in project entitlements, design, permits, construction and operationalization.
Strong communications skills in communicating with end users, design and construction team, and leadership. Self-motivated and with a desire to be the primary force towards developing the Ambulatory Project Delivery as a specialty within Corporate Real Estate Design & Construction at Dignity Health.
The Area Manager of Ambulatory Projects has a matrix reporting responsibility to the System Director of Real Estate Services and Area Director of Design and Construction. This position interfaces with the Senior Vice President of Corporate Real Estate, System Director of Design and Construction, Real Estate Services Area Managers, individual Hospital and Medical Foundation project teams for decision making, coordination, communication and status reporting.
