Our Ideal Candidate for this opportunity will be an ambitious, creative leader who is passionate about finding ways to improve the performance of our clients through creative collaboration and breakthrough thinking, and who is excited about growing a young studio into a regional powerhouse in the Washington DC area. Our ideal candidate will also possess the following:
Creative retail background – you understand retail, are familiar with the concept of speed to market, and the drivers that are important to retail clients. You should have a strong commercial retail background as well as retail store design experience;
Good with people – you are a very strong listener, genuinely interested in people, and able to build followership among teammates and clients alike providing motivation and encouragement;
Great communicator – whether verbally or in written form, people understand your ideas, and the way you share them; you are a creative problem solver; and
Passionate mentor/coach – the people that you work with feel that you have their best interests at heart and you are resourceful.
Qualifications for this role:
Architectural Registration is required;
10 - 15 years of experience in the architecture & design industry; 5 of those years should be in the roll of management of other team members;
You have deep retail experience, preferably in the Washington, DC area but not a requirement;
You have experience as an account or client manager; and
You have been responsible to the financial management of an account, or body of work.
