Architect, Construction Management, Project Manager
4 Year Degree
Summary of Position – Provide Plan Review, Consulting, and Inspection Services for Owners, Design Professionals, Engineers, and Contractors to help ensure compliance with the Fair Housing Act, ADA, and Local Building Codes.
Architectural, urban planning, engineering, or interior design background preferred; a degree is beneficial.
Experience In writing details reports which incorporate photos, diagrams and spreadsheets.
Experience in performing plan reviews, inspections and assessments for compliance with applicable accessibility codes, guidelines and regulations for a variety of types of facilities.
Experience in vetting out particulars of local accessibility codes.
Comparative Knowledge of 2010 Standards for Accessible Design.
Referenced and adopted Building Codes (IBC) and related documents (ANSI A117.1, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience:
Must have strong writing skills and ability to prepare detailed reports and assessments.
Must be willing to travel on a regular basis and make own travel arrangements
Must have working knowledge of the relevant accessibility codes/regulations and current amendments to them
Must have the ability to research and apply the particulars of local code accessibility requirements.
Must be able to review construction documents for compliance with applicable accessibility codes/standards/regulations.
Must be energetic and have strong customer service and communication skills.
Must have experience working on construction job sites and with construction personnel.
Must be able to establish, keep up with and meet deadlines.
Must be able to prioritize and organize work.
Must be able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: 6 month training period required in Austin, Texas at rate of 75K annual. After training completed, 110K annual based on minimum per /month billing requirement.
