Established Architecture firm located near NYU in Manhattan, NY is currently seeking a Project Manager with 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial building renovation and tenant fit outs.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Field survey, evaluation and documentation of existing conditions.
- Familiarity with requirements of the NYC Building Code.
- Coordination with property owners, building managers, and engineering consultants. - Preparation of bid documents including construction details and specifications in Masterspec format.
- Bid Analysis.
- Full construction administration services including identification and resolution of technical/construction issues; communication with contractors, review and action on shop drawing submittals, evaluation of change orders and requisitions for payment.
Applicant should possess experience with commercial building renovation. Candidate must be a highly motivated and organized individual with strong project management and planning skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills. Experience with AutoCad is a must; Revit and Studio Max is a plus. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook is necessary.
