As the Assistant Program Manager (APM), you will support public works project management and serve as the client advocate for specific State facilities, State Board of Technical Community Colleges, and other client agencies served by the capital construction programs. This involves providing leadership to a team of 10 (ten) professional staff and coordinating public works projects. Engineering & Architecture Services (E&AS) goals are to meet client needs at those facilities, assist management in developing project assignments, assist the client in the planning and budgeting of capital projects for the biennial capital budget appropriation requests, and supporting project managers assigned to specific projects at those facilities. This job requires complex technical judgment with positive outcomes affecting over 170 contracts with a value of more than $300 million during a typical biennium.
