RQC, LLC, headquartered in beautiful Carlsbad, CA (North San Diego County), is seeking experienced Architects with an advanced level of large scale commercial, federal and/or industrial type project experience to join our integrated design/build team to contribute to true integrated project delivery for the Department of Defense. Projects are challenging and diverse, both technically and geographically (California, Washington, Virginia, North Carolina, Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, etc.).
We have a dynamic 20+ Architectural team (and growing), including 10 licensed Architects to deliver integrated design-build projects. We utilize the highest levels of design and 3D technologies for production and construction. * A BA degree in Architecture or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position.
*10-20 years' experience in full-time architectural Revit/CAD (Revit highly preferred) drafting and construction documentation processes with three or more of those years in commercial design projects required. Project design experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) is preferred.
*Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.) at the highest working knowledge, required. Specific software literacy (Revit v2011 or higher, ACAD v2011 or higher, Sketchup) required. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Visio preferred, but not required.
*LEED GA credential preferred. *Previous work experience in the construction design-build industry preferred.
*CA architectural licensure required for Architect title.
Additional Salary Information: Very competitive, DOE and Depending on Level (JC through Design Project Manager)
