ROLE of the POSITION
This position would operate primarily under the direct supervision of the Director of Planning and Design and will work on certain aspects with the Director of Construction to manage space planning, design, FFE delivery/ installation, occupant move-in, and construction projects, and keep these projects within scope and on budget, schedule, while maintaining the project quality level required, and standards compliance. The candidate should be able to manage a variety of projects in various building types. The Project Manager will assure consultant and contractor compliance with project plans, specifications, UNLV standards, policies and procedures, established industry construction standards, project schedules and budgets. Depending on the scope of the project, the Project Manager may work as a team member to provide support to a Senior Project Manager in the lead project management position.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related degree, from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of project management experience.
• Experience in FF&E coordination, space planning, move coordination and wayfinding
• Experience in Interior Design
• Working toward professional registration in Nevada.
• Experience in a college, university, or institutional setting or on higher education building types.
Salary competitive with those at similar institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
