Ryan has a career opportunity for an individual to join the A+E side of a national design-build team in our Minneapolis office as a Senior Project Architect - Industrial. This individual will be the sixth member of our industrial team, and be responsible for the technical delivery of multiple projects. We believe that candidates with 10 years of related experience will be most successful, but exceptions will be made for those candidates that display clear potential.

Core Responsibilities: The Senior Project Architect will collaborate in an integrated process that is unique to Ryan, and be responsible for the following:
Plan, develop, coordinate and execute medium to large scale industrial projects, with many complexities under limited supervision. Typical projects include cold-storage, distribution, and light manufacturing.
Responsible for all project technical components, including building codes, envelope detailing and overall constructability.
Will coordinate and collaborate with a small team of architects and construction staff. Lead coordination of sub-consultants.
Primarily responsible for translating conceptual and schematic designs into DD and CD sets and leading or supervising CA efforts.
Ensure the most efficient and cost effective execution of assigned projects and intended designs through consistent integration with construction teams.

Foresight and mature architectural judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
Experience in the documentation, detailing and execution of cold-storage and distribution buildings will be strongly considered. Cold-storage, metal frame, concrete post-tension, concrete tilt-up, precast concrete, masonry and other similar construction types will also be strongly considered.
Experience in office and other commercial sectors will be considered secondarily.
Revit experience is a must.
Experience in LEED and sustainable design.
Professional degree in Architecture and Architectural registration is preferred.
