We are currently seeking an Intermediate Designer / Junior Project Architect to join our New York office that has experience in commercial, residential, and institutional projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive with a desire to work in a collaborative team environment to generate creative design solutions. Responsibilities include:
Collaborating effectively in a design team environment; developing design concepts; producing drawings and 3D images during all project phases
Coordinating and managing the design team, under the Design Team Leader
Organizing and guiding the production of drawing sets in Revit during all project phases (primarily schematic and design development phases), following the design intent.
Communicating and coordinating with other disciplines, to ensure that all necessary information has been incorporated into the project requirements.
Incorporating integrated, sustainable design solutions into projects.
Minimum of 5 - 9 years of experience in an architecture office.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Office Suite, Adobe Suite.
Fluency in Grasshopper and Energy Modelling preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
Strong design skills.
Good knowledge of large scale contemporary corporate office, residential and institutional projects.
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
