Stevens & Wilkinson, a 99+ year-old Architecture, Engineering, and Interior Design firm based in the downtown Atlanta area, is seeking a full-time Construction Administrator to provide Construction Administration direction for our Architects and Engineers. The successful candidate will be serving as a Project Architect or Contract Administrator with extensive knowledge of programs, codes, and facets of Construction Administration.
Act as a contract administrator as well as quality control specialist for multiple projects
Maintain coordination of architects, engineers, interiors, and outside consultants during construction
Provide organized feedback to project managers, architects, and engineers
Manage the process of receiving and checking shop drawings, coordinating through all disciplines
Advise personnel on contractual requirements for construction, and potential legal implications
Participate in regular educational opportunities to ensure that the Firm’s body of knowledge is current
Supervise additional personnel as designated for Contract Administration operations
The qualified candidate will have:
Working knowledge of construction activities
Working knowledge of codes
Good communications skills
Familiarity with construction management software
Working knowledge of onsite review software such as BlueBeam and PlanGrid
Ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at various stages of completion
Understands the importance of a collaborative process between architect, construct, and owner
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Relevant Architecture degree required
Current Architectural Registration preferred
10+ years in the A/E/C industry required
