Southern A & E, LLC is currently seeking a CAD/BIM Manager to add to our team of dedicated professionals.
The primary responsibilities include: installs and maintains CAD programs, troubleshoots end-user problems, develops and updates company CAD/BIM standards, develops productivity tools (shortcut functions, custom toolbars, etc.), coordinates the use of third-party vendor applications with CAD program, provides training for new/existing operators, creates new project folders/files, ensures a seamless discipline interface and workflow, and provides support for plotting operations and electronic file submissions. He or she will also create virtual 3D models and renderings for marketing purposes and assist the outsourced network vendor with hardware/software deployments and other tasks as needed.

Qualified candidates will possess the following: bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, architecture, engineering or related degree, 3 to 10 years’ experience in supporting Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems, knowledge in troubleshooting computer hardware, printer, and network equipment, ability to work in a team environment, excellent communications skills, and ability to make sound analytical judgments. Autodesk Revit certification is preferred. The ability to program for Revit in C#, VB.NET or Dynamo is a plus.
Additional Salary Information: In addition to the base pay, this position is also eligible for our annual performance bonus program and the opportunity for company stock ownership.
