The preferred candidates will have a bachelor degree in interior design or architecture, 3-5 years relevant experience in the industry, and a passion for design. We are seeking full time employees with the skills to contribute in a team atmosphere and the initiative to advance. We offer diversified experience on multiple project types in various stages of design. We work in flexible teams and provide training as necessary to fulfill the experience requirements for becoming a licensed interior designer. Samaha further supports the goal of licensure by providing a professional development allowance for every employee, in house educational seminars,Â study materials and reimbursement for the cost of the exams.
The candidates will be immersed in all levels of project design from schematic to construction documents and construction administration.Â Role and Responsibilities will Include:
Preparation of design documents through all phases of development from programming, planning, conceptual design, schematic and design development through construction documentation and construction administration
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, In-Design, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
Assist in the preparation of project estimates and schedules
Assist with graphic presentations and marketing
Interior Designer only:
Coordination and management of consultants, product reps, and furniture dealers
Assist team in the overall design and selection of FF&E
Qualifications and Skills Required
Bachelor's Degree is required from accreditedÂ Architecture School or Interior Design Degree
Licensed in Architecture or Interior Design or in process of obtaining license
Ability to work independently and with a team
LEED AP or an interest in sustainable design
Minimum of three+ (3+) years relevant architecture and/ or interior design experience
Computer skills must include Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, In-Design and Photoshop
Exceptional graphic presentation skills
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of furniture, material and design specifications and related costs - interior design only
