Mount Vernon Group Architects Inc. is an award winning architecture firm specializing in the design of public schools for over 60 years. We are seeking Architects/Designers 1 or 2 with 4 to 9 years experience.
Your duties will encompass:
Working with team members and leaders preparing design and construction documents for various phases of the projects.
As part of design process, participate in development of specifications and coordination of various engineering consultants.
Assist in development of graphic presentation materials.
Assist in coordination and review of construction administration documents and scheduling requirements.
Experience in bidding, contract negotiations and marketing.

Registered Architect or working towards completion of ARE
Arch or M. Arch. degree.
Background in educational and/ or institutional/ commercial
Construction administration experience a plus
Certified LEED BD+C and project experience a plus
Good communication and graphic skills which can include hand and/or computer and physical modeling a plus
Ability and desire to work collaboratively
Ability and willingness to demonstrate proficiency in Revit. Experience in Revit modeling and detailing
Experience in the use of LUMION a plus
