YGH is seeking an interior designer with more than 10 years of professional and design experience to join our team. We have a PVC-free policy regarding our interior materials and we are seeking candidates who are passionate about healthy and sustainable interiors.

Be a self-motivated and creative individual with an interest in solving problems through design.
Be able to plan and develop interior projects with varying degrees of complexity as well as being integral with A/E teams to develop interior concepts for projects.
Be able to multi-task, establish priorities, and communicate with team members, clients, and the public as needed.
Have excellent organizational, time management, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Have experience preparing construction documents, writing specifications, detailing, and working with an A/E design team.
Have experience in every stage of design, and the ability to carry a concept from programming through construction administration.
Experience with a variety of project types, including tenant improvements, education, and corporate.
Have technical proficiency in detailing, with a good understanding of building and accessibility codes.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor or Masters of Interior Design or Interior Architecture
EXPERIENCE: 10+ years
LICENSURE: NCIDQ beneficial
SUSTAINABILITY: Experience in evaluating sustainable design solutions LEED and/or WELL accreditation beneficial.
SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE: Candidates should be comfortable working with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Rhino, SketchUP, Enscape, or Grasshopper is appreciated.
