What you will do:
Utilize knowledge in all phases of Interior Design from Concept Design through Construction Administration
Work closely with mid-level designers and under the mentorship of senior designers to perform assignments in all phases of design process.
Develop design ideas and strategies to be implemented into project designs.
Produce mood, material and design presentations.
Develop 3D interior architecture including wall, door, soffit and ceiling locations to reinforce the concept and program.
Create material palettes and inspiration boards.
Communicate design ideas through hand sketches and digital graphics
Select appropriate furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, plumbing and hardware
Produce accurate construction documents conveying design intent including plans, elevations, schedules and details.
Produce FF&E procurement ready specifications.
Directly communicate with consultants and vendors.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
3+ years’ experience in role described above
Passion for hospitality design with desire to focus career in the industry
Self-starting, dedicated, accountable and efficient
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Enjoys collaboration with team members and mentorship from more experienced staff.
Detailed understanding of FF&E design and deliverables
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite and Bluebeam
