The Project Manager works closely with the Client Director to fulfill the clients’ needs. Skills required for this role include being an outstanding communicator, able to multitask, be very proactive and organized. Must have knowledge of the larger landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking project progress, staying alert for risks and resolving issues as they arise.
Responsible and accountable for managing the relationships with an existing client:
Main day-to-day contact responsible for the client relationships.
Initiate and participate in “kick off” meetings and campaign presentations
Work closely with vendors to ensure execution of assigned programs, could include décor, graphics, fixtures, and digital executions
Work closely with Client Director to manage and report budgets with the client
Participate in interagency meetings as necessary

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Manages and coordinates activities of Miller Zell’s creative personnel and freelance as appropriate, to ensure project progresses on schedule and on budget
Effectively communicates to the Project Team the client’s needs and requests, prepares and updates status reports for ongoing activities, manages the creative and production schedules
Prepare campaign distributions for outside vendors
Responsible for all aspects of some special projects that may involve the design and production of fixtures; includes working with Design Development and Procurement to determine materials and production method, monitor costs, and invoicing
Punctuality and Regular attendance are required on the job
Some travel is required

Education: 4-year college degree. Preferred Undergraduate degree in Architectural Design or Construction Management
Experience: 5 years of work experience in architectural and/or construction industries.
Must have knowledge of all functions necessary to manage creative projects such as: Marketing, 2-D/3-D design, Design Engineering and Operations.

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must manage stress appropriately; make decisions under pressure; handle multiple priorities, work alone or may be required to work in areas that are confined and/or crowded.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The incumbent will never be exposed to toxins, chemicals, detergents, and extreme temperatures (30degrees F – 115 degrees F), dust, fumes, moving mechanical parts, x-ray/electromagnetic energy, high pitched noises, Communicable diseases, or gases. The incumbent will spend approximately 90% of their time indoors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: SEDENTARY WORK: Lifting 20 lbs. maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying articles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and/or push up to 30 pounds with mechanical assistance.
This position requires stooping, kneeling, bending, manual dexterity, repetitive hand and arm coordination, finger dexterity, vision acuity both far and near with depth perception. The incumbent will both sit and stand performing this job.
