Portland Maine area Architecture and Interior Design firm seeking full-time BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator with a focus in Architecture.

The successful candidate will lead and participate in a highly collaborative effort while working closely with our engineering consultants and in house design team to train, review and manage BIM software. The position requires excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with project design teams, consultants and project stakeholders.
Successful Candidate Must Have:
5-7 Years of Architecturally related experience working within a professional design or engineering firm.
5-7 years of dedicated use with BIM Software (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and demonstrate exceptional proficiency managing very large scale models.
An advanced professional level understanding of Revit Cloud Worksharing with BIM 360.
The ability to work with a team to coordinate preconstruction, construction and project construction documentation
Excellent communication skills across a diverse team of colleagues and consultants
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, open office environment and remotely as required
And must be extremely adept at producing construction documents for many project type and assemblies.
Candidate Primary Responsibilities:
Manages BIM process on projects throughout preconstruction and construction
Develop, manipulate, and maintain 3D models for projects during preconstruction and construction
Review documents, identify issues and develops solutions in coordination with the Project Management team
Attend local and remote coordination and project meetings
Run clash detection, document clashes, and track through clash report
Work collaboratively in a team environment to resolve design/drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish project objectives.
Possess leadership and communication skills to assist less experienced BIM designers who share in the project design efforts.
Oversee the development of Revit families and templates
Develop, implement and train in house designers new BIM Firm Standards documentation
