Experience

• Master’s degree in Architecture required
• Twelve plus years of experience with strategic, functional, operational, and medical planning on healthcare projects for multi-specialty clinics to large-scale hospitals.
• Utah Architectural license or ability to obtain Utah license
• LEED and EDAC certifications preferred
• An understanding of the trends and challenges facing the healthcare industry and how those trends will affect clinic and hospital operations planning and design, including green design, patient safety, and evidence based design principles
• Published white papers, prepared and presented content at major conferences is preferred
• The ability to maintain a lead role in client relationships, planning and team leadership
• Demonstrated effectiveness working in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative team settings, with a history of client satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, presenting) along with excellent interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, flexible to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development.  Knowledge of current building codes and possess the ability to successfully complete the permitting process with applicable planning officials.  Knowledge of addenda and construction change directive procedures.  The ability to review and respond to submittal and RFI documentation with sufficient knowledge and understanding of the project and industry.
