About Halifax & Nova Scotia:
Nova Scotia is one of 10 provinces and three territories of Canada, located on the East Coast and it is almost completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.
From lazy days splashing at warm-water beaches to an exhilarating surf lesson, we have a beach for you; no point in Nova Scotia is more than 60 km from the sea.
Halifax is known for its culinary scene, craft beer, boutique shopping, and vibrant nightlife, and for being the historical and cultural capital of Atlantic Canada. Here you’ll find lively Celtic–inspired live music playing in pubs along city streets.
One of the world’s longest urban boardwalks spans the length of Halifax’s waterfront for 4 kilometers (2.5 miles), from Pier 21 at the Halifax Seaport to Casino Nova Scotia.
With a population of 412,000, Halifax is the largest city in Canada East of Montreal, however there is a distinctly “small town” vibe that makes living here very chill. Getting around the HRM is super easy by bus, ferry, bike or on foot, and there’s always something to do or see!
Nova Scotia is full of the most beautiful small towns and heritage sites, breathtaking provincial and national parks, and the Bay of Fundy – one of Canada’s seven natural wonders! Weekend road trips and hiking excursions to some of the most beautiful landscapes in Canada are one of the many perks associated with living in Halifax.
Live rurally and work in the city, just a 20-40-minute commute to Downtown Halifax from the many communities in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist with the creation of design and construction documents for all project phases
Develop innovative solutions to suit design intent and project specific issues
Work with the project team to deliver project documentation requirements
