As one of the largest luxury residential design and build firms in Texas, we understand our clients' expectations when it comes to designing stunning homes.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced, creative, licensed residential architect to join our growing design team.  Projects range in size from large luxury single family homes to resort style properties.  Experience in land planning and general development is an advantageous.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide architectural support to design team
  • Creation of construction documents and plans
  • Ensure all plans are compliant with all applicable building codes, permitting authority requirements, and community design guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with interior designers, construction team and vendors
  • 3D Modelling

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a lead role within a residential design firm
  • Architect Degree
  • Advance software skills including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe creative suite etc.
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • Creative thinker with ability to work across multiple projects and developments
  • Design forward with the ability to demonstrate design capabilities across various architectural styles and genres
  • Ability to lead a team of support staff including draftsmen and 3D visualizers
  • Ability to manage client relationships from preliminary design concepts to construction completion
  • Knowledgeable of residential building materials and construction techniques
  • Experience of coordination with consultants including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate complex design into clear and concise construction documentation
  • Excellent verbal, written analytical and technical skills
  • High level of organization and the ability to work in a fast-paced design environment
