Responsibilities

• Represent the owner and provide team leadership with their architect and contractor during design, pre-construction, and construction phases
• Manage actual project costs to meet budgets
• Oversee design and construction phase schedules to complete projects on time
• Understand technical aspects of project and processes to ensure quality
• Ability to coordinate with numerous stakeholders including user group, regulatory agencies, and others
• Understand design and construction contracts; ability to ensure contractual obligations are met by architects and contractors
• Report on overall project progress and other relevant project details
• Other duties and responsibilities associated with representing the owner

Qualifications:

• Professional degree from accredited program (preferably architecture, engineering, construction management, or other technical building industry related)
• Past, demonstrated, experience in the building industry preferably in a role of leadership and full responsibility for the successful completion of projects
• Strong technical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities
• Familiarity and ability to work with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam programs
