Design Team Job Captain will coordinate, develop, and prepare creative design concepts for projects and design drawings. 

This is a non-exempt position as defined by the state of California.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Work independently on architectural design projects and often coordinate project design efforts
• Assist Project Architect and/or Project Manager in developing project documents for bidding and construction
• Develop planning and creative-design concepts for projects
• Prepare presentation, design concepts, and construction documents
• Provide planning and design support in the preparation of design development
• Coordinate with engineering consultants
• Complete agency applications, interface, and approvals per Agencies having jurisdiction (DSA/Local Building Dept./ FLA/ Health Dept., etc.)
• Communicate and coordinate with in the preparation of documents with consultants, contractors, and team members
• Review shop drawings, project submittals, RFI's, etc
• Document code review and compliance
