The position of Project Coordinator at Mayse & Associates is an entry-level project management position reporting to and working directly under either the Project Architect and/or the Studio Director. A Project Coordinator must have at least three years experience in Architecture and a Professional Architectural Degree. Compensation for Project Coordinators is based on individual performance in project management, technical competency and timely project delivery.
The following lists some of the roles and responsibilities of being a Project Coordinator:
Capable of managing assigned project(s) through the various stages of project development, design and construction
Working knowledge of the various governmental approval processes and capable of managing projects through those processes
Able to efficiently manage the activities and schedules of Intern staff working within their team for successful project delivery
Able to manage the various consultants working on their projects in order to meet assigned project deadlines
Working knowledge of building codes and capable of conducting a code analysis on any project type
Capable of assisting on a building project through every phase, from programming and preliminary design to permitting, construction documentation, bidding and construction administration
Technically proficient in the use of REVIT
Possesses a working knowledge of all engineering disciplines and able to coordinate the various consultants and their documents through a project
Able to represent the Firm in the preparation of Marketing materials for new business/client prospects
Assume responsibility for the project(s) assigned to them in terms of overall quality and production schedule
Assume responsibility for their performance on project teams
Actively finishing professional registration, working towards professional advancement within the firm and encouraging others within the firm to advance
At least three years of experience in Architecture and a Professional Architectural Degree.
