This person will be responsible for assuring the relationship, technical, administrative, staffing, and financial objectives of the education market sector are met within the framework of established firm-wide goals. The position will report to the Management Board and will mentor and manage staff. They may act as the Client Executive, Project Manager, Designer, or Project Architect on specific projects if appropriate. They may also have no role on a project other than serving to enforce that standards of quality and client satisfaction are met.

Understand building codes, industry standard practices, construction sequencing, and constructability, and possess the ability to resolve the impacts of these on the design, detailing, and construction of a project
Coordinate internal project teams, consultants, and builder during design and construction phases
Lead and actively participate in research, design study, and preparation of drawings and specifications through all phases of a project, including responsibility for the production and quality of all contract documents
Interact with zoning, building, and permitting officials throughout projects
Support construction administration responsibilities on site and in office, and understand schedules and project sequencing to anticipate next steps and resolve field issues

This person will be a key team leader in the Educational Studio leading K-12 and Higher Education project teams. Candidates should be Licensed Architects with 10+ years' experience, with specific experience working with education clients.
