Garco Construction is a General Contractor with an in-house Architectural team focused on design/build projects in the Commercial/Retail, Education, Entertainment, Automotive Dealerships, Manufacturing & Warehousing market sectors. Garco is committed to an integrated and team-oriented approach to successful delivering of Design/Build projects. Our typical design/build team involves direct collaboration with clients, designers, estimators, project managers, marketing staff and experienced field personnel.
What You Will Do: Design your own projects as well as lead our experienced Architectural team, from Schematic Design through Project Closeout, and enjoy a collaborative team approach. Take primary responsibility for management of our Architectural Design team as well as perform quality control ‘redline’ reviews of design drawings and forecast relevant design milestones. Duties will also include site visits and working with local agencies.
Your Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is preferred. • Licensed to practice architecture in Washington State. • Minimum eight years of professional design / drafting experience. • Experience Commercial/Retail, K-12, Entertainment, Automotive, Mfg./Warehousing preferred. • Proficiency in Revit required. Familiarity with Bim 360 and Sketch-Up preferred. • Ability to work creatively in a collaborative environment during all phases of design.
