Access Architecture is seeking a Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to join a highly collaborative and innovative firm working on projects that are socially and environmentally conscience. Applicants should possess a desire for design rigor combined with the need to help those who are underserved in our communities. As a project manager, applicants must have experience shepherding projects through the full design process, from pre-design through construction completion. In addition, applicants must be able to support and give guidance to junior staff.
While it’s expected that employees reside in the greater Portland Metro area, Access Architecture appreciates and understands the value of remote working. We support flexible working arrangements for employees and have the infrastructure and workflow in place to do so.
Bachelor or Master of Architecture professional degree from an NAAB accredited university.
10+ years of experience working in the architectural profession, with 5+ years in multi-family.
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
Strong technical knowledge of building construction.
Strong organizational skills and ability to plan complex schedules.
Experience effectively managing multiple team members and consultants.
Self-motivated, team player, and willing to perform tasks at any level.
Sustainable design credentials and proficiency in Sketchup and CAD preferred.
Experience with projects located in Portland, OR preferred.
