DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:The positions essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervision of daily maintenance and custodial operations. Screens candidates and makes employment recommendations to the Human Resources Department. Evaluates the performance of all staff assigned under direct supervision and ensures that departmental members not under direct supervision are evaluated. Thoroughly understands the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act. Knowledgeable of the provisions of respective collective bargaining agreements to properly administrate those provisions for which the director is responsible. Frequently assesses each District facility.
