Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing the CALE team and advising the Director of Planning and Design on campus architecture: including the design of facilities, grounds, signage, site elements, historic preservation, exterior art program and the co-development of the campus masterplan; and campus learning environments, including planning, design and assessment of general-use learning spaces and informal learning spaces/ “Oases”. Design review of campus projects impacting building exteriors, public spaces and grounds along with the development of long-term plans for the development of common-use formal and informal learning environments is also the responsibility of the Associate Director.
