TVS is looking for a talented and experienced architect or design professional with 5+ years of experience, especially in office, hospitality, multifamily residential, or mixed use projects, to join our practice in Atlanta, Georgia.  This person should be able to perform in a self-directed manner in all facets of building design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building and rendering, as well as construction administration, while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs

• Work collaboratively with other team members as to best approach

• Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs

• Lead small team on a task-by-task basis

• Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm

• Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm’s strengths and goals

• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited college or university

• 5+ years of experience in a professional environment; experience in office, hospitality, multifamily residential, or mixed-use projects is preferred

• Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, 3D modeling and rendering programs; experience in Revit is preferred

• Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation

• Experience in all conventional aspects of architecture

• Experience in all phases and aspects of a project is desirable

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner

• Able to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn

• Able to work independently with little supervision

• On track for future professional licensure or certification if not yet licensed

• Optional: Architectural license/registration

• Optional: NCARB certification
