The Sr. Manager, Contractor Marketing will develop, lead, and execute The AZEK Company’s strategic vision, growth strategy and key initiatives to drive success within all facets of our Contractor and Architect Programs. Customers supported in this role include contractors, builders and architects.
Key areas of responsibility include: Program, channel, and brand strategic vision and positioning, development and execution of strategic plan to drive program growth, development of joint business plans, new product activation/commercialization, showroom display and merchandising executions, media/advertising management, project management, sales/marketing analytics, and a high-degree of communication and partnership with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Contractor Program Management
- Build strategic vision for program to support growth through development of short, mid, and long-term business plans for the program
- Develop joint business plans to drive growth and partnership with our customers
- Grow new Contractors and Architects in Program through multiple channels
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Contractor Program including:
- Ensure seamless integration of Contractors to new portal including integration into SalesForce.com
- Partner with the Pro channel sale team to develop best-in-class training/communication
- Measure, report out and optimize plans and key initiatives based on results
- Participate in weekly/monthly updates to sales team
- Management of 3rd party vendor partners and relationships to continue evolving and improving program tools
- Manage all facets of the Annual Contractor Seminar
Customer & Showroom Experience
- Lead the design and execution of showroom display, merchandising, graphics, concepts, and point of purchase collateral
- Develop sales & marketing collateral, tools, brochures, flyers, and promotional activations
- Assist in the development and execution of advertising campaigns (includes traditional and digital media) in partnership with advertising agencies and marketing team
- Support growth of exclusive Contractor and Architect partnerships and stocking positions through current store stock expansion and new item or test placements
Digital/E-Commerce Presence
- Develop email content plan and partner with digital team on cadence of communication
- Partner with internal marketing/product teams, as well as external customer digital teams, to support growth of customer’s e-commerce platforms
- Help develop best-in-class digital content including master data uploads, landing/brand pages, web banners, and SEO strategies to support customer’s business needs
- Manage content asset needs including content creation, photography, and graphic needs
Business Planning, Financials, and Analytics
- Understand how to analyze and build P&L’s for various business requirements
- Develop and manage an annual budget and spend and maintain it within forecast
Position Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience in a corporate marketing, brand, category, product, sales, or strategic environments; with a focus on channel and brand/consumer marketing required
- Demonstrate a history of driving results and sales growth
- Specific work experience in similar type roles including marketing, channel marketing, sales, consumer insights and strategy, advertising, project management, and written communications
- Strong project management/organizational skills required
- Ability and experience to present to C-Suite executives
- Able to build strong relationships with a wide range of both internal and external partners/customers
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing dynamic new customer/channel/market strategies
- Exceptional verbal, analytical, reporting, and presentation,
- High proficiency within SalesForce.com, PowerPoint, and Excel
