Mott MacDonald's architectural team is looking to expand.  We're looking for a project architect to join the team, to support some major project wins. Responsibilities of the position will include:

This individual will be a core part of a team to develop and implement fundament standards and specifications instrumental to interface management, particularly in relation to stakeholder engagement, communications, public outreach, and various other technical aspects of project delivery.

The BIM designer will be a supportive role to the Architectural team and function within the program management organization for a portfolio of projects throughout the design and construction lifecycles. Some of the BIM designer responsibilities will entail authoring a variety of software by promoting and utilizing the best tools and systems framework for projects, which may require configuration and deployment.  The use of existing BIM capabilities and new technologies, such as 4-Dimensional (4D) Scheduling, Virtual Reality (VR), and web-based client engagement, among others, will be applied.

However, core competencies include:

• An Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and deliver required assignments
• Genuine interest to develop and progress digital delivery with a propensity for learning.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate closely with other disciplines and to function as a team player, but also with an ability to work independently on tasks
• Ability and inclination to maintain and improve on knowledge of software and drafting techniques, standards, practices, and engineering procedures.
• Competency in ESRI ArcGIS and/or Autodesk tools.

Preferred, but not required, competencies include:

• Background in ESRI ArcGIS: ArcPro, ArcMap, Online, Survey123, Collector
• Background in Autodesk tools: Civil3D, Revit, 3D Studio Max, Navisworks, and InfraWorks
• Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare BIM and final drawings from verbal instructions, preliminary layouts, sketches, and project standards.
• Experience with infrastructure projects in one or more of these fields: Architecture, interior design, building sciences, structural engineering, MEP designs
