Merriman Pitt / Anderson (MPA) is searching for a full-time, architectural designer to grow with our firm in downtown Austin, Texas, or grow with our St. Louis, Missouri branch. The candidate should have a well-rounded personality and anticipate being involved in all facets of project design, document development, and construction phases. Candidates will work in-person at the office managing team members, consultants, and closely collaborating with contractors in a design build relationship. Candidates should anticipate working on a variety of project types across the U.S. including Hospitality, Multi-Family, Office, and Industrial. Salary is commensurate with experience level, plus performance-based bonuses.

Merriman Pitt / Anderson, Inc. (MPA) is an Austin, Texas based Architecture, Interior Design, and Planning firm. We provide consulting services for Programming, Site Planning, Architectural Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, LEED/Sustainable Design, 3D Animation, and FF&E Procurement.

Please note: This job is not remote. This job may require some project travel.

Candidates must have the following minimum skillset:

• Bachelor of Architecture degree
• At least 5 years of experience
• Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Revit, modeling and document production
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Construction or Project Management Experience working with Owners and Contractors

Preferred Qualifications:

• Architectural license, or actively pursuing licensure
• Experience working in BIM360 Design working with other consultants
