The Project Manager manages and assists with capital projects in Plants. They will provide oversight with company-wide capital projects. Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Ensures effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and other project participants for capital projects.

Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.

1. Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
2. Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
3. Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
4. Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
5. Control project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.

Knowledge, Education and Experience

Certified Project Manager or Degree in Project Management with three to five years' experience working within a construction/manufacturing/industrial setting; or the equivalent of experience and education. Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to work with vendors, contractors, plant staff, corporate engineering, and others to complete projects on time and within budget. Experience working with CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design preferred.
