Intended candidate would be interested in growing with our small firm on projects ranging from restaurants and small retail to multifamily residential types in the Long Beach area. As a design build-firm we are able to defend against crippling construction cost overruns and design killing evaluations by creating a realistic framework for development which has proven to set us apart in the field of architecture.
We very intentionally operate as a collaborative studio which is made possible by our small size and integrated design / construction processes in which staff is able to work on a great variety of projects and have hands on experience from client interactions through in-field construction coordination. Project types are various and localized including multifamily, retail, restaurants, and adaptive reuse commercial types.
As principal I am looking for team members who find good design to be stimulating, The kind of people that find it hard to sleep when a great idea is kicking around in their heads.
We would like to hire one or more persons who share our vision and who have 3 – 5 years experience in an architectural firm, technical expertise in multi-family and type III, V construction and have at least 3 years of professional Revit use. Portfolio review is part of this application process.
We are a small firm with big ideas and for the right candidate we offer authorship as an integral part of this rapidly growing firm. Relocation for the right candidate within the continental US is a possibility.
