How Will Your Days Be Spent
Develop and draw architectural plans and details utilizing relevant software.
Assist Project Architect and Project Manager with document preparation, drawing sets and plotting. Generate revisions and corrections from outline mock-ups, redlined drawings and project document sets.
Review shop drawings and construction documents for accuracy, consistency and completeness. Recognize discrepancies and communicate issues to team members.
Work closely with team members and assist to complete projects on aggressive schedules by meeting deadlines within expected time and budget constraints.
Communicate with other disciplines and technical consultants (i.e. MEP engineers) to obtain answers/input on measurements, etc.
Participate in client or user group sessions and construction site visits as opportunities arise.
May assist in initial project visualizations in 3D image formats.
What You Bring to this Role
Minimum of two years relevant architectural work experience required. Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously preferred.
Previous experience with integrating engineering systems into architectural designs and/or commercial, industrial, research and development, or applied manufacturing projects preferred.
Beginner Revit knowledge required; have at least one year recent Revit experience in an academic or professional setting. Understands how Revit works, but may not have completed a project from start to finish. Has made edits to existing drawings, models, etc. Intermediate Revit knowledge preferred.
Beginner proficiency in AutoCAD required.
Experience with SketchUp and 3D visualization software preferred.
Degree in architecture or related field required.
Sustainability accreditation preferred.
