Chamberlin Architects is seeking an architectural intern who is creative, inquisitive, and talented to join our fourteen-person employee-owned firm. We have openings at our Grand Junction, CO office.
We work to make a meaningful impact where great architecture is scarce. When graced with beautiful, natural surroundings, we try to make our buildings fit in and highlight the amazing landscape rather than dominate it. As part of our team, you will have opportunities to design everything from small remodels to new multi-building campuses for all sorts of project types including Hospitality, Healthcare, Education (K-12 and higher ed), Government (local, state and federal), Single and Multi-Family, Cultural and Institutional (non-profits).
Our offices are located in the heart of growing and vibrant downtown communities in western Colorado and western South Dakota. In Grand Junction, we are surrounded by world class mountain biking, climbing, and skiing. Don’t live in urbanized Colorado - skip the crowds and traffic of Denver and give yourself easy access to hiking and camping among our mountain lakes or fishing along our tranquil rivers! And consider the relaxed lifestyle in South Dakota - in Rapid City we are surrounded by the Black Hills landscapes and history, world-famous wildlife, and the wide-open opportunities of the American West.
For over 40 years our staff has designed exceptional buildings rooted in these spectacular environments. We aim to raise the bar for what is built outside of major cities. Through an open studio environment, our offices foster design critiques, technical innovation, collaboration, community involvement, and fun!
If you are interested in being a part of a small, design-oriented firm with the opportunity to make a difference, email a resume and portfolio of selected work to HRdirector@chamberlinarchitects.com.
