The City of Stockton is seeking to fill a Plan Check Engineer position in the Building & Life Safety Division of the Community Development Department (CDD). The Building and Life Safety Division is responsible for the enforcement of building codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to building construction and remodeling within the City of Stockton. The incumbent will perform complex work involving the review, examination, and approval of building construction improvement and repair plans and specifications for compliance with structural and nonstructural requirements, applicable codes and regulations.
