Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, inspire, and mentor an impactful team of Designers, who turn our vision of enhancing the quality of life through innovative design into reality, with a clear and actionable path.
• Compel executive leadership and partners in the best interest of our shared environment through expert design, storytelling, and thought leadership.
• Develop relationships with cross-functional teams to envision and deliver actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of several projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs.
• Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
• Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects
• Manages multiple small/medium projects, coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates the scope of work. Prepares strategic plans for project success
• Develop and maintain Uptic’s voice in Sustainability across our projects. Understand complex systems of ecology, technology, sociology, policy, and business to arrive at actionable means to achieve a positive impact on matters of sustainability.

Required knowledge/skills:

• Licensed Architect able to achieve reciprocity in short order in Washington State
• 6+ Years of professional experience in architecture or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience in Architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp is required. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D rendering software is ideal.
• Experience using a Project Management Software, CRM, and Time Tracking
