The City of Fremont's Community Development Department is seeking two full-time Senior Plan Check Professionals who will lead technical staff and cross functional plan review teams in other City divisions/sections as well as outside agencies. The Senior Plan Check Professional is responsible for the supervision of a subset of the plan check section, reporting to the Principal Plan Check Professional. The position will perform and assist with complex, large-scale plan check reviews, ensure timely service to all customers; perform the more complex plan checking activities; and facilitate conflict resolution with applicants, outside agencies, and other City plan review disciplines.
