Qualifications:
- Professional Architecture Degree
- 5 or more years of experience working in an architecture office working on high-end residential projects
- Excellent verbal, written, and lead graphic communications skills
- Excellent technical skills and thorough understanding of interior materials and construction detailing and methods
- Excellent organizational, record-keeping capabilities
- Fluent in CAD; proficient in MS Office, Adobe CS and/or Bluebeam
- Strong design ability and presentation skills in sketches, renderings or other means
- Uphold best practices and MEM’s process standards and CAD standards
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to take direction from clients and supervisors
- Experienced in developing construction documents
- Effectively follow deadlines for production, renderings, presentations and research
- Coordinate the production of documents with consultants, contractors, and other team members.
- Logs, reviews and processes project information and correspondence, ie. RFI’s, ASI’s, submittals
- Assist with site observations and prepares Observation Reports and Progress Meeting Reports.
- Prepares and distributes project documentation through-out the life of project (Conference Reports, Meeting Minutes, Email, Observation Reports, etc.)
- At project completion, archives all construction documents and project files from all in-house disciplines and outside consultants in accordance with office procedures.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques. Must include knowledge of, or ability to learn.
- Manage own time and workload, as well as that of others, to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from a Project Managers and Principals.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
