Qualifications:
Professional Architecture Degree
5 or more years of experience working in an architecture office working on high-end residential projects
Excellent verbal, written, and lead graphic communications skills
Excellent technical skills and thorough understanding of interior materials and construction detailing and methods
Fluent in CAD; proficient in MS Office, Adobe CS and/or Bluebeam
Strong design ability and presentation skills in sketches, renderings or other means
Uphold best practices and MEM’s process standards and CAD standards
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to take direction from clients and supervisors
Experienced in developing construction documents
Effectively follow deadlines for production, renderings, presentations and research
Coordinate the production of documents with consultants, contractors, and other team members.
Logs, reviews and processes project information and correspondence, ie. RFI’s, ASI’s, submittals
Assist with site observations and prepares Observation Reports and Progress Meeting Reports.
Prepares and distributes project documentation through-out the life of project (Conference Reports, Meeting Minutes, Email, Observation Reports, etc.)
At project completion, archives all construction documents and project files from all in-house disciplines and outside consultants in accordance with office procedures.
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques. Must include knowledge of, or ability to learn.
Manage own time and workload, as well as that of others, to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from a Project Managers and Principals.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
