The Production Associate position includes working with the Principal and Project Architects from pre-design through construction by primarily providing production support. The Associate’s responsibilities include preparing design and construction documents, 3D CAD models, completing code studies, and researching products.
Each member of the firm’s team contributes their voice to its culture in pursuit of better and more creative solutions. The Associate’s responsibilities may expand based on their initiative and ability.
- Some education from an NAAB-accredited architecture program.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an architectural firm.
- Strong design production skills and the ability to prepare architectural drawings, 3D CAD models and renderings.
- Live within a reasonable commute distance and able to work in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and from home Mondays and Fridays.
- Experience preparing construction documents and details, especially for Type-V construction.
- Experience working on high-end residential, historic, multi-unit housing, and commercial projects.
- Proficiency with CAD, and rendering software. ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop are preferred.
- Comfortable working in an open office environment.
